Performance with disjuncture

After my pitch and feedback, one of the problems raised several times was getting my band to look right, and with this was the bands ability to play the instruments or atleast look like they are playing the instruments. The people I have chosen to be in my band however, cannot play instruments, I can work my way around this by focusing on the lead singer who does not play an instrument, he just sings. I may be able to get away with focusing on the front man and bigging up his star image for a majority of the video, but however there are 3 instrumental parts in my song choice, there is a 29 second introduction, 28 seconds in the middle, and 19 seconds after the lyrics finish. In these periods i cannot focus on the lead singer doing nothing, so I plan to bring in some sort of disjuncture, of the band being themselves, messing around in the practice room, drinking, and having a laugh.
